We often have great memories down our memory line. The golden memories of our strong connection with God give us a feeling of a cool breeze. We often struggle to revive that connection. We may get diverted sometimes but down there in our hearts a hope to see the lost visions in living color keeps intriguing us.
Longing to See the Lost Visions in Living Colors- My Story
When I was 19, I was very close to the Lord. I would shut myself in my dorm room and pray on my knees and just be silent with the Lord so I could hear his plans for my life. I remember being given a vision of the production, People dancing, acting, and singing for the Lord. It was dark and the people were lit up with neon suits. I got so excited I started to map out this vision and the message and I knew it would come to fruition.
Sadly, I never got to see what God put in my mind’s eye. I know now that the Devil found my vulnerabilities. He saw that most of the time I was alone and let’s face it. Sometimes being set apart as a Christian can be very lonely. I started hanging out with high school friends and slowly lost the grip that I had on God’s hand. I wasn’t being bad, but I wasn’t giving all of myself to God as he deserved. So, the vision he gave me became like a photograph that you put in the bottom of a box. Forgotten but not gone.
God will keep His promise- Just hold His Hand
Here is what I know now. God is the beginning and the end. He has a plan for your life. Whether or not you lean in and lead the life he wants you to, is up to you. God’s will is everything. It SHALL come to pass. His desire is for you to exalt Him in all you do. He will receive the praise that he deserves. If you don’t worship him and exalt him in all that you do the rocks will cry out to him. God will keep His promises to you, you just have to hold his hand and not let go. Lord, my prayer is that as the wind goes where you send it, So will I. You gladly chose surrender and so will I.
I hope that someday I will see the vision I had when I was 19 in Living Color. Grab on to what God has for you!!!!!!!!
